Have a little sweat before the big turkey dinner with our Travisso Turkey Trot! Invite your friends and loved ones to come join our annual 5K and family fun run!
Event Details
Our 5th Annual Travisso Turkey Trot is here! Get ready to trot with your neighbors in our annual 5K and family fun run. Prizes will be awarded to our top youth and adult finishers!
Head on over to our neighborhood Palazzo parking lot so we can get our Thanksgiving Day started off right! All ages can participate in our fun trot (easy peasy) or in the 5k run (for our more fit turkeys). Just think, this brisk run in the morning will offer you additional grace when you take that third helping of stuffing.
The morning schedule will be, as follows:
8:00 - 8:20 arrival and check-in
8:20 The Trot! (easy peasy, 1/4 mi)
8:30 5K Runners! (fit turkeys)
8:40 5K Trotters and Walkers
8:30-10:00 water & fruit served
9:45 awards and general fanfare
Prize Categories:
5K Grand Tom (top male finisher)
5K Head Hen (top female finisher)
5K Smoked It! (top child finisher aged 12-17)
5K The Wobbler (top child finisher aged 11 and under)
Gourdy, Gourdy (Best Dressed/Most Spirited Participant)
Register in advance (free) so we know you're coming. If you're one of the first 50 to register through our Eventbrite link by 11/17/22, you'll receive a swag bag (one per family) at the event!
If you don't pre-register, we'll still let you fly in but we might not have enough bags for late comers. Not only that, your RSVP will help us plan for food and other give-aways. We have no contingency plan for bad weather and everyone is welcome to participate rain or shine.
