Evangeline Café proudly offers Cajun cuisine lunch and dinner in our home-style restaurant located in Austin. With outdoor patio seating, ample portions, and a relaxed hometown atmosphere Evangeline is a great place to eat, relax, and listen to some of Austin's finest musicians. We offer a variety of Cajun-style dishes for lunch and dinner, available for dine-in and takeout. Not only do we offer dine-in and takeout services, but catering services are also available.


All of our cooking is freshly made to order, with all of the ingredients hand chosen by the chef/owner who is straight from Louisiana. Our French bread is made in-house and we have all the classics such as gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya, and many of our own creations.
