Permanently Closed.. The oldest restaurant in downtown Austin, Annies Cafe & Bar is Love Nance's continuation of Austin's 30+ year favorite Apple Annies. After a successful run at its previous location, Love purchased and restored a larger space on Congress Avenue in the historic Day Building. While still featuring favorite recipes from the original Apple Annies, Annies extended service at the new location to include full service breakfast, dinner, weekend brunch, a full bar, all in addition to our classic café lunch service. Our commitment remains to local, simple, house-made, scratch-kitchen classics, and we utilize local and/or organic items when we can.
Annies is proud to be partnered with the City of Austin and the nationally recognized BRE program. Austin's Business Retention Enterprise program supports locally-owned, homegrown business in remaining and thriving in the downtown business district.
