The Austin Traditional Jazz Society will present the Violet Crown Serenaders in concert on Sunday, April 13, from 2 to 4:45 pm. This great band specializes in the dance music of the 1920s.  They are led by Colin Hancock, a talented player at home on many different instruments, and drummer, Dave Bedrich.  The Serenaders are a favorite with Austin jazz fans and swing dancers. 

Come and see the fun at Ben Hur Shrine Temple at 7811 Rockwood Lane, off Anderson Lane near MoPac. There is plenty of free parking at Ben Hur.  The hall contains a large dance floor.  Snacks, beer, wine and sodas are available.  Patrons can bring their own food.  ATJS concerts are family-friendly. 

Memberships can be purchased at the door or by visiting www.atjs.org . Guests can enter for $12 and college students with ID and members of the Austin Jazz Society are $5.
