Austin Chronicle's 2019 "Best Of" winners for Best Quiz Night and one of the longest-running trivia events in American history (probably) – Geeks Who Drink at The Highball happens every Wednesday night at 8pm inside, you guessed it, The Highball, nestled alongside Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar. Form your teams of up to six trivia fiends (or come stag if you're new in town, we'll gladly find you a crew), and get ready to put your brains to the test with seven rounds of quiz magic.

Featuring big-time prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams as well as bonus prizes featuring lots and lots of free Alamo Drafthouse movie tickets and whatever the hosts have lying around their respective homes. Hosted for a dozen or so years by the same two bozos with beards who're constantly facing the rigors of old age and ennui, it's the perfect way to spend some time with your pals, meet some new ones, and show off your big brains.
