Celebrate Texas trees in the Arboretum with tree climbing, walks and talks, s’more roasting, fort building and more! This year's event also marks the closing weekend for our full explorable exhibition among the trees, Fortlandia.

The Wildflower Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Winter Tree Fest activities (11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) are free with admission.

Meet near the tree and shrub sale in the Texas Arboretum.
* 11 a.m. - Trees of Central Texas and Their Benefits, with Arborist Brad Hamel
* 11:30 a.m. - See It Like an Arborist, with Don Gardener, consulting arborist
* 12 p.m. - Winter Birding Walk with Travis Audubon
* 1 p.m. - Tree ID, with Colleen Dieter
* 2 p.m. - 5 Keys to Healthy Young Trees, with Steve Austin board certified Master Naturalist + Nick Crowther, certified arborist, Bartlett Tree Experts - Austin, TX
* 3 p.m. - Pruning Techniques & Tips, with Jennifer Hrobar, The University of Texas at Austin arborist
