Once again ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live will return to Austin to broadcast live from Long Center for the Performing Arts in South Austin during the 29th Annual SXSW festivities. As usual there will be celebrity guests and performances by some of the top musicians featured this year during SXSW. Last year Kimmel filmed some pretty hilarious comedy scenes out and about in Austin and we expect the same comedic exploits on our fair city this year as well.
The live broadcasts will begin on Monday, March 16th and continue through the week concluding on Friday, March 20th. Unfortunately this years inaugural show will begin two days after March 14th, which was declared as “Jimmy Kimmel Day” by Austin’s former mayor, Lee Leffingwell.
