Description
What a little gem! I know I sound totally ridiculous saying that, but it's true. A group of us ended up here a little on the late side for dinner on a Saturday night, and were quickly seated at the exact dining room table I want for my dining room, along with the chairs I want as well (Hey IKEA!). While I'm generally all about the mid-century modern, this place mixes up modern and romantic with ease and aplomb. Like Allison mentioned, the bathroom wallpaper rocks. I'm not even a fan of wallpaper, but I'd have that in a NY minute. Aside from decor/ambiance, the food is absolutely outstanding. I started with the butternut squash soup with crab, and I swear, if I could have licked that bowl clean, I would have. That was the best butternut squash soup I've ever had in my life! For dinner, I went with the house specialty of Schnizel and Spatzele (sp?) with a mushroom cream sauce. I can already tell this is going to be my favorite, go-to winter dish at any restaurant. The prices are so reasonable, and the food is so top-notch at Fabi + Rosi. I can't wait to go back. I can see this being a go-to destination for me for a long time.Frequently Asked Questions
