Worded Funny is Austin's literary comedy show featuring live readings from our best (and best up-and-coming) humor writers. Experience the charm and wit of prose comedy, as read by its authors. Be enchanted by readings from contributors to McSweeney's, The New Yorker, National Lampoon, Reductress, Slackjaw, and elsewhere!

REFUND POLICY If you buy an online ticket, we recommend arriving 30 min before the start of the show to guarantee your seat. If you don't check in to our box office at least 10 min before the show, your seats will be given away to people on the waitlist. We do not refund tickets after a show has started. We sell tickets at the door and have a waitlist for no-show seats. Eventbrite will not refund fees for online tickets.WHAT IF IT SAYS SOLD OUT ONLINE?
Even when a show sells out in advance online, we sell 10-15 tickets at the box office on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can also get on the waitlist if all tickets are gone. We highly recommend buying in advance online!
