The Carver Museum, Cultural & Genealogy Center is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and exhibition of African American history & family research. The Carver Museum & Cultural Center is a free museum, dedicated to the collection, preservation, and exhibition of African American history and culture.
The Genealogy Center is an extension of the Carver Museum and Cultural Center and acts as a public resource for learning about family history. The Center provides access to genealogical information such as databases, books, instructive material and monthly seminars. Although the center is set up as a self-guided experience, it will provide limited genealogical assistance. Monday - Wednesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Boyd Vance Theatre and Cultural Center Hours subject to change based on special event and venue rentals.
