Get your shopping on. It’s time for the best German-Texan Christmas Market in Texas…. Austin German Christmas Market at GTHS. 27 years and counting!
Event Details
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Get into the holiday spirit by visiting the most authentic German-Texan Christmas Market in Texas and its gardens located at the German Free School, which are transformed into a traditional German Christmas Market.
GTHS offers truly German Christmas decorations as they are imported from the Erzgebirge, an East-German region that is internationally known for its' Christmas customs.
PUBLIC Christmas Market will be on:
Saturday, December 3rd, from 10am to 5pm
$5 entry as this is a fundraiser for our German International School of Texas at Austin Pre-K
and Kindergarten. 12 and under are always free.
Location: 507 East 10th Street, Austin, Texas 78701
Come enjoy the Christmas Market experience where GTHS offers truly German Christmas
decorations as they are imported from the Erzgebirge, an East-German region that is
internationally known for it’s Christmas custom, Glühwein (spiced hot wine and a must at
any Christmas Market), music and German food. And perhaps a visit from St. Nicolas 11am,
1pm, and 3pm.
MEMBERS ONLY Christmas Market (skip the lines, shop in peace, and no entry fee) will be
on:
Saturday, November 26th, from 10am to 4pm and
Thursday, December 1st, from 11am to 5pm
There will be no food, music, or kids entertainment for the members market. The public
market will have those and much more.
